8" Wheel Lock Extensions

While the wheel lock extensions is a great addition to extend the wheelchair brake handle these are not the best designed for its use. The extensions do not lock onto the existing brake handle and when placed onto the existing brake handle they protrude out to far from the wheelchair which get caught onto furniture if wheeling to close by. The extensions needed to be duck taped to the existing brake handle to prevent them falling off. They come with an elastic strap attached to the each extension that you then attach to the wheelchair frame so if they do fall off they won't get lost or roll away. I suggest a new design should be made to allow the extension to lock onto the existing handle and a straighter and upright design to avoid the tilted out design flaw. And, BTW, they are not cheap. Each extension (not a pair) costs $20.00. Wish I could give a 5 star review but I need to be honest and let consumers be aware of the flaws.
