Features

The Lumex Ortho-Biotic II Recliner features a unitized recliner mechanism that allows for independent adjustment of the legrest and back. Easy access Trendelenburg Pedal on right side of the recliner allows for activation of the Tredelenburg Position.

For patient comfort and enhanced safety during patient transport, a pull-out footplate is standard. The footplate is easily extended when needed and can be safely stored out of the way when not in use.

Conveniently located on the outside of the recliner, the LegrestRecliner Lever enables the patient or caregiver to easily operate the legrest and adjust the back angle of the recliner.

For enhanced patient comfort in all recline positions, the Lumex Ortho-Biotic II comes standard with a Universal Headrest that can easily be adjusted up and down on the back of the recliner. It's unique shape allows the pillow to be used behind the patient's head, neck or back..

For enhanced patient comfort, the seat and back is constructed of a high density foam base with a 1" topper of visco-elastic foam.

The Lumex Ortho-Biotic II Recliner features four Tente Swivel Casters specifically designed for healthcare applications. There are three total lock casters with a fourth caster that features a green directional locking tab for improved tracking during patient transport.

The Lumex Ortho-Biotic II Recliner is offered in a wide array of fabrics and colors. All fabric offerings are specifically designed for healthcare applications and are easy to clean and maintain.
