Product Description

Invacare's economical solution to bed pressure sores is the MA50 microAIR Alternating Pressure Overlay. You get the benefits of an Alternating Pressure Mattress but at a fraction of the cost.
This mattress overlay isn't as thick as our other APM but it is more mobile and has a weight capacity of 350 lbs. This alternating pressure overlay is 5 inches thick while most mattresses are 10 inches thick.
The compact and quiet air compressor puts out up to 10 liters per minute (LPM) to administer a smooth, alternating surface. The compressor is easy to transport and is quiet enough to not wake your patient at night.
The microAIR Alternating Pressure Overlay is for pressure ulcer treatment. So if you patient has received pressure sores from mattresses, this overlay will not only prevent more pressure sores, it will help heal the sores your patient currently has.
