Absorbing up to 13 times its weight in moisture, the Vive Care silver alginate dressing pads provide wound protection and a moist environment to promote natural healing. Ideal for infected wounds, moderate to high exuding wounds, first and second-degree burns, pressure, and diabetic ulcers, the alginate dressings with silver prevent microbial contamination, absorb wound discharge, and control odors. The latex-free wound dressings can be folded for added protection in cavity wounds or trimmed to fit smaller areas. Easy to apply and remove without damaging the surrounding skin, the flexible silver wound dressing pads will not scratch, irritate or stick to the wound site for greater comfort.
